I dig into my old sketchbooks and find the stuff of fun for this ongoing series of
surf fantasies. The ink and wash technique is intriguing, and
sometimes leads to larger paintings--sometimes reverse. In the current series,
I am using a vintage walnut wash I picked up in London at one of those art stores that
has drawers and bins of pre-WW II mystery supplies. And most recently,
I'm working with ink and indigo washes.
